As many of you know, after 13 years I am shutting my bead business down. The only complete kits I still have for sale are a few of the "Waves". However, I will continue to provide patterns / direction-only packages for all the kits pictured in this section. As many of you have noticed, I tend to work in series. A number of the collar styles are constructed almost identically, differing only in the color scheme. If you don't know where to even start building one of my necklaces, you should order my book, at $21.95. It contains 12 projects from the intermediate section below. It is by far the wisest use of your money. Plus I still have a lot of them to get rid of. It includes all the instructions you need to build: Alice in Springtime, Carmelita, Split Rock, Tea and Crumpets, Byzantium, Blues for the Nineties, Ice Storm, Somber November, Glacier Lake, Ancient Alchemy, Aurora and Into the Woods.
For those who don't want to buy the book, I have a Basic Setup Package for $8.00. It includes a general supply list, basic broadcollar guidelines, basic setting up and finishing details including backbar attachment and braiding with seven. It also includes the cardboard neck form.
Patterns not included in the book can be ordered separately. Patterns include step-by-step instructions for all the necessary techniques, color photo, color chart, bead needs and so on. The prices range from $8.00 to $40.00. Either the book or the Basic Setup Package, plus the Pattern will provide all the information you need to build the collar of your dreams.
If you want to reproduce a collar for which you already have the instructions but want to use a different color scheme, you can order a Slim Package of instructions. This will include the color picture, color chart/bead needs, fringe reduction chart and any small differences between collars. These are priced at $1 per page; the typical cost is $3.00. The Slim Package assumes you already have the instructions for a similar collar. As an example, all the Intermediate Loop collars are similar. If you already have a Pattern for Croquette, you would only need a Slim Package for Glacier Lake. Call or email me for more information and pricing on a Slim Package.
