On a visit to Hatfield House in 2005, I was struck by the vista of the walled garden, the bench and the abundant wisteria. I could envision the soon to be Queen, Elizabeth, sitting here waiting for news of the death of her sister Queen Mary and her ascension to the throne of England.
Angled perspective of the wall, the contrasting colors/textures of the bricks, the bench and the pavement.
