Living on the edge of the bread basket Midwest, flat empty fields in winter divided by long rows of trees, frequently evergreens, are a common sight. I read an article describing single point perspective using a row of evergreens as an example. The article also described using sheer chiffon to replicate snow and also how to use solvy to create 3 D needles. Having just taken a trip through snow laden Indiana, I came home determined to have a go as the Brits say. It became the first in an ongoing fascination with stitching trees.
