I found an article showing how to do a variety of texture stitches and immediately decided to make a bell pull style wall hanging using neutrals progressing to pale pinks, greens, beiges. Once these were done, I decided they needed to be in a spotlight strutting their stuff. I’d been exploring pulled thread techniques so used one of these stitches to surround the spotlighted trees. When finished, I realized it was a visual metaphor for how I’ve felt most of my life.
